This little beauty sprung up in my vegetable patch while I was on holiday. It hasn't flowered or bore any fruit. Me, my friends and my mum are stumped.

The underside of the leaf is smooth but the top feels similar to a fine grade of sand paper.

I live in London, England & I have been growing onion, tomato & basil in my veg patch. Any help identifying the new addition to my patch would be much appreciated.

Looks like Euphorbia species. Check it for the milky sap.
