    Help!
I am looking for a particular plant which may be in the Papyrus plant family. However, instead of having the really narrow splays of leaves, the one I am looking for has leaves that are broader...about 1/4" to 3/8 wide. Also, the height of the plant is much higher..about 4 feet or so. They grow in groups and spread much like bamboo. Here in Florida, they grow really well but I have yet to find a retailer who carries them. Any ideas?
    Thanks,
    Sheila

Cyperus alternifolius, Umbrella Palm, may be what you're looking for. However it grows to about 6' tall. There's a dwarf form, Cyperus alternifolius 'Gracilis' that reaches a height of 3-4'. Cyperus papyrus, Papyrus, is the one with the pom-pom heads.
