Only user's last posting in a thread has a signature?

    Has it always been the case that only a user's last posting in a thread has a signature? Or is it the first posting to appear on the page? I always view last first, so I'm not sure how it works for other people.

    Has it really taken me nine years to notice this, or is it a new feature?

    You will have to dig through the Forum Announcements forum to see when this was first implemented, and then later re-implemented (the functionality was lost after an update where I had forgotten to re-add it, so there is a gap where all sigs where shown once again)

    OK, that answers all the questions. Thanks. I did do a search to see if I could come up with any discussion about it before I posted the question, and did not find it. I probably searched on signature instead of signatures.

    I don't need to know when.
