Saw this today at Maplewood Flats in North Vancouver and folks who should know said it was new there.
Wondering if it is some new invasive or just what. From afar I first thought it was a piggy-back plant but it is not. Seems more like an orchid? Or?

It could be an Epipactis, an orchid

Excellent lead. From your lead and then looking at references, epipactis helleborine sometimes (not all?!!) would seem to be it. Alas, an alien that quite likes that little conservation area.
    Thanks very much.

No problem. I used E flora of BC as a guide.

Confirmed, an introduced orchid for this region.
