    Hey all;
    I have this plant in a couple large patch that are significantly increasing in size (taking over from Salmon Berries) along my road frontage. I'm concerned that it is an invasive weed but before I go destroying it I want to have an id... and I just can't find it; it basically looks identical to all the kinds of knotweed in the Georgia Basin (Japanese, Giant etc.) except that the leaves are significantly different - see attached pictures.
    Thanks;
    Nick

    yeah that would definitely be it. Native to BC! - and I didn't know it or find it; now that is embarrasing, thanks.
