Originally I have been searching for Tilia platyphyllos but I could only find, what I believe to be T.cordata. As there were cars parked beneath the tree, I decided not to photograph the entire tree + cars. Hopefully a member can confirm my ID or otherwise. Thank you in advance.

Reminds me most of Tilia × euchlora (Caucasian Lime) - the green shoots and glossy leaves fit well. This hybrid is commonly planted in urban and suburban areas.

In general for identifying limes, it is best to get studio close-up shots of both upper and under sides of the leaves.

Hello Michael F. Thank you for replying to my Thread. Unfortunately the leaves were well beyond my reach and I use a compact camera. Thank you again.
