Gosh, is this a mint? some sort of cress, a garden escapeee or ?
This was June 23 in the forested area/paths around Squires Lake in NW Washington State.

The size was much smaller than the close up here suggests. The stem of flowers was maybe 2 to 3 inches in length.

    Your help is much appreciated!

Gosh. Thanks so much for this lead. I never would have thought of Veronica because I've only ever seen those with blue flowers around here and in BC! I realize I've been stuck thinking of Veronicas as blue and usually the alpine type.
I am wondering now however, it ithis might be veronica serpyllifolia, thyme-leaved speedwell......not sure between that and V.officinalis.
