Recently I take this picture form a Private Garden here in Santiago, Chile.

Did somebody know what species it is?

    Thanks Paul.......

We have grown a plant identical to the one shown for about 15 years. The tubers came from a reputable Dutch nursery labeled C. coelestis, and it now appears they may have been mislabeled.

I'm not the only one who may be wrong: this German site shows a plant similar to the one in question.

See this page on the United States Department of Agriculture web site also

Perhaps it is C. communis; then again, C. erecta is known to be a polynorphic species with many named variants.

I will have to wait until it's in bloom this summer to try and positively identify our plant.
