I have a salmon coloured hybiscus that survived beautifully during the winter months. It began blooming in March and has continued right up until two weeks ago (around the same time I gave it some 20-20-20 fertalizer). Now I have tons of yellowing leaves and just one flower. The soil is moist,, not wet, and it has not moved from its spot in front of the west facing window. What do you suppose the problem is?

Hibiscus often yellow and drop leaves when they are moved or over- or under- watered, fertilized or stressed in any way. That fertilizer was rather strong, probably better to give something more dillute and lower in phosphrous.
