I am posting about advice for care of a yellowing ficus benjamina, so I hope this is the right place....I just started working in a library, and they have a ficus with yellowed leaves. I know yellowed leaves pretty much means too much water. (they water every Saturday regardless!) Every single leaf is yellowed at least half way up. How can I treat this? We have hard water, with a higher than usual floride content. I think this may not be helping matters much. I think I should let it dry out, use distilled water, and maybe repot. I am not sure what to do about the leaves. I am also not sure if it is getting enough light. It is about 15-20 feet along the same wall as a floor to ceiling west window. (darkened glass, on a covered walkway) I also posted in the fern forum about an asparagus fern. Thank you for any help you can give me!
