Help! My once white and fragrant rose bush now has yellow leaves turning dark at the edges and sad looking roses. There were lily of the valley around the stem but I pulled them outand fertilized, hoping that would help. Maybe it doesn't love the sun? It's in a hot location, full sun all day. It has not looked great since I moved it there. Try moving it somewhere else? The rose is probably 25 years old and has not looked healthy for the last 3. All suggestions welcome. Diane
Hi Ron, very likely. Can I expect this rose to last me into my dotage assuming I begin to treat it better? Or do roses die of old age? It's 25ish. Stems strong, lots of leaves. Just failure to thrive at this point (probably water as you suggest). Should I cut back all the yellow leaves as I begin a more rigourous watering program? Thanks for pointing out the obvious, Diane
