i had planted my lemon tree from a seed from shoppers and i left it outside. i live in northern virginia and we had a pretty cold winter. the leaves fell off and the bark turned yellow. my dad told me it would grow back its leaves in the spring but i'm thinking its dead so i just planted it in the garden. now its the begining of spring and the bark hasn't turned green and there is no sign of life. it is about 5 feet tall. could someone please tell me if it will ever show signs of life or produce fruit.

I think you already know the fate of the poor tree. - Millet
