I am so happy to have found this forum site. I am a young wife and mother and have been living in our first house for the past three years. I was very eager to get some safe and lush house plants to add some color and personality to our new home. However because of lack of knowledge I have unfortunately lost several good store bought house plants. It was such a shame to see them go and I want to do everything possible to make sure that doesn't happen again. I also get a lot of "slips" from friends or plants at my office that are over grown and I want to be able to learn our to take care of them also. I look forward to all the wonderful answers and suggestions.
