I planted strawberries in raised beds this summer. Are they going to survive the winter? The temperatures during the winter can fall as low as -35F.

    Thanks

Not sure what type of cultivator you have but I do know that the native wild strawberries that grow in the interior of BC will survive no problem. My mother lives north of 100 Mile House, where these stawberries can be found all over her property, and she has had temps dip down as low as -45C (the average winter temp being about -35C)......and every year there are always lots of berries to harvest. They are small but very good.
You may want to try covering yours with mulch or some sort of frost protection if you are unsure that they are cold hardy enough.
