Located in 5b Ontario Canada. During extremely high wind weekend I ended up with hundreds of tiny branches twigs on my property. I have nothing on my property that they resemble. The clusters on The branches look like seed pods but not sure
I would really appreciate if someone could ID type of tree/shrub for me and confirm if they are in fact seed pods at end
    Thanks so much
    Deb

Flower buds of either a Silver Maple or a Red Maple. If they hadn't blown down, they would have flowered in March/April.
