My windmills took a beating, covered the trunks and ground cover on both....wrapped one palm foliage but not the other. The larger one was snowcovered and we are sitting in a snow belt, the fronds took a beating. What should I do? Can you prop them up? I've cut a few off that had browned. Since the large one got the female flowers I was told its a good sign but the fronds look beaten.

We just moved in and this is the the first winter with them. Can anyone recommend a way to wrap these or a service that does this for winter. The local nursery told me not to worry last winter and turned out to be a bad move.

    thanks
