I have this beautiful prickly pear type cactus that seems to have wilted over and is touching the ground. It is not over watered and not rotted. We have not had rain in a month and a half. I staked it up last night and gave it some water. Any idea on what may be doing this? Is it lacking some kind of nutrient? Any help will be greatly appreciated. This is grown from a cutting I took three years ago from the side of the road. Thank you, Red

Below is a picture of the cactus standing upright.

The plant looks quite healthy. May be due to loose soil or over weight on right side, it is bending.

Just an update, all it needed was a good watering. After a week, I removed the stakes that I drove into the ground to help support it and it is standing proud. It has been a very dry summer here and even the cactus don't like it. Red
