My neighbor told me that my new willow tree won't grow any taller because somone cut the top off. Is this true? I've had my willow 2 days. I don't know anything about them except I think they are beautiful! My tree is aprox. 6' tall. The tallest branch or limb has been cut....Will my tree be ok???

It would have been better if it wasn't cut, but that won't stop it from growing. It may develop a less attractive shape with a forked trunk.
