Wild Spathiphyllum? Or something else?

    I was leafing through my pictures and found this little beaut; it reminds me of a Spath, but then again, of course, I could be wrong. Given the inflorescence, I'm sure it's an Aroid, though.

    It is from a lower transitional forest, around 1100 meters elevation.

    Any thoughts?

    Looks more like an Aglaonema to me.

    I highly doubt Aglaeonema, since that plant was in virgin forest.

    There are some Homalomena spp. in STH America .. it looks a little like one of them .
    There are a few known from Ecuador , try H.picturata , a very variable species .

    I used the phrase "looks more like an Aglaonema" to indicate that is what I thought it resembled and not to say that is what I thought it was. I also thought of Homalomena.
