We purchased our home a year ago and have an older grape vine growing along our fence. It did beautifully last year except it was infested with white flies. Is there something I could spray it with this year to stop them and when is the best time to spray?

    Thanks for your help,
    Louise

Thank you for your enquiry. Apply insectidal soap to control adults to the undersurfaces of the newer leaves. If the problem is severe, spray plants every three days. Another suggestions is to spray summer oil on woody ornamentals (horticultural oils for growing season use), that can tolerate summer oils (check label)

    Good luck with your grapevine.
