which is the male flower on T. Begonias?

I believe the large flower betwen the 2 smaller is the male. Not only does the Pistil seem present in the smaller flowers, but it looks like it has the ovary[3 winged] behind the flower. It seems most people think its the other way and even numerous web sites. Please someone set the facts. Thanx
