Does anyone know the name of this Gasteria? I bought it a few yrs ago from an acquaintance who sold cactus and succulents out of her greenhouse, but her memory was not all that great, and she couldn't remember the name of it. In the last couple of years, it has sent up a long flower stalk with white flowers. I have since been told that it was, Gasteria liliputana, but looking at photos online, I don't know if that's really what it is... It looks a little more more like one called, Gasteria pulchra, but I'm still unsure... Sorry for the blurry image (old photo) I can take a clearer, more recent pic tomorrow if need be. Thanks!
G liliputana looks about right, but I'd like to see a better pic & if you could tell us the size of the pot, please?
Ok, here's a couple more photo's. It's growing in a 5" pot, but will need a larger one in the spring.
Oh my! I guessed it was a much smaller pot. Glad I asked! I believe G. liliputana is a smaller plant than what you have. It seems to have grown my your last pix. ;) G. pulchra would be closer, in my estimation. I will check out some other possibilities & get back to you if I find any.
Thanks Rosemarie for doing a check for me! I think it resemble's Gasteria pulchra more so then the other one too. The lady who sold it to me had a HUGE one growing in like 10"-12" pot. my guess is, as long as the pot has room to expand, it will:) Thanks Chester for the nice comment! I like them too....
