    Hi, all.

I am Garden Newbie. From what I understand, Rose is usually sell by branches.
However, my parents ask me to find the following rose seed in Canada since they live in oversea. I guess it may be easier to ship.

Any ideas where I could find it?

    4 Aloha 5 Zephirine Drouhin

thank you for all your help.

You could grow species roses from seed, but you will get some variation in plants. Named cultivars like the ones you mention are the result of breeding (hybridizing) or are selections of naturally occurring roses that are genetically distinct and can only be propagated by vegetative means (cuttings and grafts).

I don't know where your parents live, but quality roses are widely available. It is probably best to purchase locally to get varieties that will perform in there location anyway. Perhaps you can do an internet search to help them find local sources or if you tell us the country they live in, someone on the forums may be able to suggest local sources.
