The recent poor economy and poor weather will also be liable to affect what garden centers are doing. Some may be taking a cautious approach to stocking up, as is one buyer for a huge operation down here. Speaking for numbers of items well in advance, so as to be sure of having them when the buying season comes is not the concern it usually is this year.
