I believe Lee Valley sells self watering systems (there is a Lee Valley on SW Marine Drive, I think, and one in Coquitlam near all the furniture stores on United Blvd).

what are the plants? they may be fine for the time period if you water them before you leave.

They are begonia, ivy, kalanchoe and phlox. I think 2 weeks may be ok for ivy and kalanchoe. I am not sure about the other two.

yes, the kalanchoe will be fine. the ivy probably, also.

the begonia definitely will need something. can you repot it into a self-watering pot? like those used for african violets. then, all you'll need to do is make sure the base is filled with water and it'll be fine.

i've not grown phlox indoors, so i don't know what it needs.
