Hi. I live in Ottawa and have numerous plants started from seed that are indoors, waiting to go out on the deck. It's been cold this spring so I haven't put anything out yet. I am wondering what sort of night-time temperatures are safe for seedlings. My living room is getting overgrown, but I don't want to kill everything as soon as I put it out. Also, it's a bit troublesome to put stuff out for the day and bring it all back in at night.
I have: yellow pear tomatoes (about 3-4" tall), basil and parsley (4-5" tall), California poppies (3"), nasturtiums (8"), morning glories (8"), and sweet peas (15").
    Any recommendations appreciated.
    Thanks,
    tuula

Since you've already hardened off the seedlings, the California poppies, parsely, and sweet peas can stay outside now. The tomatoes, basil, and morning glories can go out when nighttime temperatures stay above ~15ºC. Not sure about nasturtiums, but I think they be safe to be included with the poppy group.
