I planted all these lettuce and spinach 2-3 weeks ago.
All said FULLY MATURE from say +- 50days onwards in different days.
Does that mean I have to wait till then to eat my lettuce or can I taste before?
Where and how to cut ?
I heard it will not grow again if not cut properly.
Sadly I seem to be the only one in my neighbourhood that I am in contact with that has time for a veggie patch. So don't get any advice "life". and this is my 1st patch .
    Thanks for any reply.

I am not sure about the lettuce but you can cut the spinach prior to the maturity. I grew spinach last year in a container and picked it several times in the season.

Whenever you want. Just don't strip the plant if you want it to keep going.

I don't know if this is right. I'd like to thank every one who replied my post . But is it the thing to do to reply by quote to each who has replied to a post? I am new to this forum.
Thank you for telling me the accpetable way.

Just use the "Post Reply" button, unless you specifically want to address something mentioned by another poster, in which case you may want to use the quoting system.
