Identification: What's this?

    Can you help me identify this plant? It was injured by my grandson and is dying.
    I want to know how to help it survive.

    There are a few common names for this hoya. I know it as a hindu rope hoya (Hoya compacta) Wax plant

    ya it is a Hindu Rope .. they are an awesome plant .. so different the way they grow .. how was it injured ??.. it is ok if it lost a few leaves.. they will grow back..
