Identification: What's That!! UGH!

    Two of these things have sprung up in a shaded area in our yard and are grotesque! They look like a carrot-like penis (complete with a hole in the tip) and have a slimy olive-brown mantle. Should we call the DHS or what? thanks. Jim Hyer
