I started a woodland garden last spring, by moving three rhododendrons ranging in size but the two largest were 12'x15 and 15' x 10. I don't know the variety ( will try to do this when they flower), but what I am wondering... Is there a good fertilizer to use or a particular n-p-k to help these somewhat newly transplanted rhododendron get a good start? Also, should I be fertilizing my rhododendrons at any time and with what? Thanks
Put on rhododendron fertilizer if you think they need it. Stores have products labeled specifically for rhododendrons etc. Bag/box will say when and how.
Am I to assume that the difference between rhododendron fertilizer and another are the micro nutrients? Thanks
