Identification: what kind of plant please...

    Hi,

    I have a cat and am hoping someone can ID this plant.. I want to ensure that it is non toxic to cats. Thank you!!!

    It looks like an Aglonema to me. It is toxic, but your cat would have to eat a lot of it!! It has the same toxicity as spinach, so I wouldn't worry

    haha yes i trust you. But I want a definitive answer. I mean they look similar and if I didnt have a cat I wouldnt be worried. But yes. How toxic is spinach?? How much would a cat have to eat of this plant to do harm? Do you know? Is it bad if he just eats a little? he went to it once and hasnt gone near it again. Hopefully he just doesnt eat it and it wont be a problem.

    I don't think anyone has gotten sick from spinach, ask Popeye ; )
    Your ca would have to eat at least the whole plant, and I don't think it would be doing that...I wouldn't imagine it would taste very nice
