Identification: What is this?

    I found a little root ball with tiny spikes come out of it living in the dark in a closet at work, not even in a pot of dirt, so I planted it and it has become whatever this is. Clearly I need to engineer some sort of support for it as it just keeps growing UP. Thanks!

    Probably a Zantedeschia. Drawn-up habit due to inadequate sun exposure.
