They look like little members of the genus Coprinus (Inky Caps), or rather, fungi that used to be in the genus Coprinus and have since been moved to other genera. Pretty! -frog
Yup, Frog's right. The genus coprinus has undergone a huge shuffle since the advent of DNA sequencing. So lots of things that were once coprinus have been moved. I believe it's either Parasola leiocephala or Parasola plicatilus (only a microscopic examination of the spores can settle it for certain). We have only ever seen it once in person.
