Hello, Two days ago I watered this plant and today I noticed this. Can anyone tell me what it is and why it is now in the soil of my plant?

It's a mushroom growing in your pot. Your lipstick vine seems happy so I don't see any harm. Not uncommon.

Thank you for responding. Why and How does a mushroom just suddenly start growing in my plant! Also, what is the lipstick vine?

    Thank You

As for the mushrooms, read this post:

Looks like you have those in an early stage in the photo, probably more developed now.

I think globalist1789 meant the plant, but I don't think it is that. The leaves look like it initially, until you notice they are palmate. Looks like a schefflera.

Thank you everyone for your help! I have had the plant for over 6 years and have never had this problem. I'm wondering if it came in the new soil I used to transplant. Although it is not showing up in the other plants I transplanted at the same time, with the same soil. Thank you again, everyone!
