My pygmy date palm has a white substance on the new leaves which I haven's seen in previous new growth. Is it anything to be worried about
There appears to be the same hair/substance on the leaf margins. Some of it may have come loose, perhaps from watering, and rolled up into these tubes. Tease some of them onto a piece of paper and look for something inside.
