What is this weird Aroid ?

    Or is it even one ? I am pretty certain its an Aroid , it just has that look to it .
    Leaf is very much like a Syngonium . It could be a climber , sends out long runners .
    Not seen a flower yet on it , but maybe next year when it has established on a tree .
    Source said it could have come from PNG , as he had some nice Raphidophora spp. and Alocasia that are from there from same supplier . It reminds me of Cercestis [was Rhektophyllum mirabile , but this one has no white patches .. will get a better picture later .. this one is a leaf on one of the cuttings I took today .

    Yes it does look like a Syngonium...

    But its not Ed , not shiny and no white sap when cut , and no where near as vigourous .. I've had it a few years now and it has not covered the whole back yard yet .

    We've got something that looks remarkably similar here in Ecuador - arboreal habit, right? It may be a wierd philodendron, or I may be straight out to lunch.

    Still no idea ... maybe its not even an Aroid !

    Maybe not. Whats its growth pattern like? Climber, clumper etc?
