Identification: What is this plant?

I have acquired a couple of new house plants, and I have no idea what they are. Can anyone tell me what this one is? The "trunks" are in the soil, and the plant stems grow from the trunks almost like a tree. It is very green and frilly, similar looking to a ming tree leaf.







This is the other plant I have acquired. It was small, but now that it is branching out, it resembles a maple tree branch and I'm starting to wonder if it is a tree and not a vine...

Looks like:

1. Polyscias fruticosa, Ming Aralia.
2. Cissus rhombifolia 'Ellen Danica', Oak Leaf Ivy.

 

So it is a Ming Tree??? I have been wanting one, and looking on-line and thought I would have to spend 50 bucks or more, and I found this at Wal-mart for 8 bucks, and thought it looked similar, but never dreamed I had actually picked up a ming! I am so excited. Thank you!!
