Identification: What is this plant please?

    My daughter brought a cutting back from school and it's grown into this. I have no idea about if it should be inside or out, or anything else.

    Looks like Plectranthus verticillatus, Swedish Ivy.

    Plectranthus, yes; Ivy, no - that has very different leaf shape.

    The most common common name for Plectranthus verticillatus is Swedish ivy. It is not in fact Swedish (actually Australian), but it is an ivy by the "any of various climbing or trailing plants" definition. It's just not the ivy.
