What is this on my Yucca Cane?

    It's a root. You should do . . . whatever you want to. If you want a second plant, you could cut off that head and plant it in a small pot of damp soil. (It'll never get a cane as thick as the one it sprouted from, but it'll still grow.) If you're offended by the look of it, cut it off. If your only concern is whether it's going to harm the plant, you can ignore it.
