Hello i work at a Garden Centre in the Isle of Man and i was just wandering around and i came across these very strange fungus's. Its centre is ball shaped, around the size of a golf ball, with a small hole at the top. The centre is hollow and very soft. If you squeeze the centre brown dust shoots out the top. There are also petal like parts that protrude outwards from the centre, Which are pointed and curl downwards. it is growing in a very moist and shaded area. There is 5 of them altogether. Any ideas on what it is. its very strange. I cannot find any images on Google of anything similar. I will go get a photo of them and post it in a minute.

Sounds like an earth-star of some sort.
