yucca is the name of your plant it is widely planted tolerates cold and heat it is easy to propagate from new growth on its stem and you can cut its head and plant it the remaining stem will give new growths in few weeks and it will give new shape the following some yuccas in my garden next on stairs the following with head cut i planted its head in Plastic bag (recycling) the arrow points to cut yucca head in my experimental corner the old stem gave many new growth after 10 weeks it is my way to propagate yucca plant best wishes
