We call her "Zelda". It is tropical, has waxy leaves and flowers just one flower at a time in a bunch. The flowers drip a pungent sticky substance while in bloom. I have been able to root new plants from one single leaf, which to me seems sort of "succulent like". Likes a sunny window. Can anyone ID this?
Thanks Michael F. This has been in the family for 30+ years and no one ever knew what it really was. Now I can research it and take even better care of it. I appreciate your time and knowledge.
Do NOT cut or break that stem the flower is on ... it will reflower from it over and over .. Hoyas have such beautifull flowers on them .. i so wished mine would flower .. Marion
Hoyas will bloom better when underpotted and exsposed to some direct sun (2-4 hrs) rather than indirect light.
