We are planning a mid June reception and want to incorporate some donated garden flowers and greenery in the arrangenents we place on the dining tables. Given the late spring in Vancouver this year, what common garden plants are likely to be in bloom 6 weeks from now? Could be either cuttings from flowering shrubs or flowering perennials, preferably without strong frangrances. They need to stay good looking for at least 24 hours.
My own garden is mostly early spring stuff and I've got a total mental blank for what looks good at that time and grows prolifically enough to be a cut flower.
