    Greetings,

What are nugget potatoes? I've heard of "white nugget potatoes" and "red nugget potatoes". Is this a particular variety of potato? I cannot find it in any of the catalogs. Is this what some people call "New Potatoes" or immature or "less than full grown" spuds?

Also, I want to grow about 1,600 sqft of potatoes "organically" in the back 40 in Surrey, BC Canada. Our soil pH is 5.35 and we got 13 ppm N, 1 ppm P, 25 ppm P1, 54 ppm K, and 4 ppm S. Is this good for potatoes?

    Thanks!
    Zac

Nugget potatoes are just small potatoes that haven't matured yet. Potatoes like high levels of N, P & K. pH should between 5.0 and 6.5. How your levels compare, I don't know. Sorry. I know they grow lots of potatoes in Richmond, so chances are your soil is fine. :)
