weird tulips!

hi eveyrone, ive had some crazy tulips growing at my home, the first year i planted them they where all a purple-mauve color, the second year they were all white, the 3rd year they were all orange, and just last year they were purple and white combo. What is wrong with them????????

I've heard all kinds of debate on this and many people say that the tulips can't change colors, yet people do say it happens. This should be an interesting read for you. Maybe you have Rembrandt tulips.
