My neighbour gave me a cutting of one of his shrubs. He thinks it's a weigela. How do I know forsure? If it is a weigela, where should I plant it and how long can it stay in its current home of a 10" pot?
Sun or part shade, room for development. Leaves and buds are paired (attached at the same points) on the stems. Should get some watering in summer. Good backdrop for perennials that flower at same time during May and June.
