I had my willow tree cut down several years ago but am still having trouble getting rid of the roots. Does anyone know how best to get rid of them?
Willow roots run deep, we had many wild willows and we also have weepers, when we wanted to get rid of the wiilows that were in the way we had to dig around the stump and down and hack off the root system, the more the better, it's labour intensive work but it did work about 90%. When I see a new shoots come up I just mow it over.
Thanks for the reply. I have been trying to get under the roots and hack them away, very labor intensive. Was hoping to fing an easier way. Thanks
