Weeping Willow in Shade?

    I just planted a 8 ft tall weeping willow in the back portion of my backyard where tree canopy keeps the willow in shade. Is this a bad spot for the willow? Will it grow here? Or do I need to move it to another spot where there is a break in the tree canopy and it gets some sun for a least a few hours a day?
