What kind of weeping Spruce is it? In one of the Kootenays gardens. Sorry I don't have any better image.

Looks like a weeping Douglas fir.

One of the weeping Norway Spruce cultivars, possibly Picea abies 'Inversa', though several other similar cultivars exist.

No chance for agreement on this?

Do you have access to the plant?

The needles are too short and arranged wrong for a Douglas-fir. Definitely spruce.

No, I don't. I took this picture during one of our Kootenays garden tours, about 150 km from where I am. The weather was rainy, as a matter of fact it was pouring most of the time, so I was happy to be able to take any pictures at all. May be will try to find out how to contact the owners of the garden it grows in.

Michael, to me, too, it looks more like a Spruce.
