The weeping cherry tree that I bought my wife for Mother's day has small holes in the leaves as well as yellow leaves. I have been using Bayer Advanced Complete Insect Killer on the leaves in hopes of driving off any insects that may have been chewing the leaves up. I noticed the trunk is semi-soggy where I have placed red mulch and have moved the mulch, creating a circle around the root system. Do you have any suggestions about what I need to do to save this tree?
